²³ So now, behold, ^(A)Yahweh has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; but Yahweh has spoken calamity against you.”

²⁴ Then ^(B)Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek and said, “^(C)How did the Spirit of Yahweh pass from me to speak to you?” ²⁵ And Micaiah said, “Behold, you will see on that day when you ^(D)enter an inner room to hide.”
